About this poster
This is a beautiful vintage poster by Emil Cardinaux from 1909 to advertise the Dolder Grand Hotel in Zurich. The hotel is located in Zurich’s most exclusive residential area, with a forest bordering the estate and a magnificent view of the city, Lake Zurich and the distant Alps - all of which is captured to perfection in this lovely Art Nouveau poster. The 5-star Dolder Grand Hotel was originally built in 1899 as a health spa, closed for renovation in 2004 and re-opened in 2008 as a luxurious spa hotel.
