About this poster

The Basel designer Donald Brun created the cute original poster in 1945 to advertise the directory enquiries telephone number 11. The eagle owl probably stands for the message "Uhui" and the telephone receiver belongs to the legendary black apparatus of landline telephony from the 1920s. Here is the French-language version.
