A beautiful and colourful art deco poster designed by Otto Baumberger for the Electric Simplon Railway company showing the Valais village Sion. Switzerland and Italy can be easily reached by the Simplon tunnel which was built underneath the Swiss Alps. This wonderful image by the famous Zurich artist Otto Baumberger demonstrates the picturesque landscape of Sion to the highest level. The romantic city with the two medieval castels in the background is one of finest litographs created by the master of Swiss poster art Otto Baumberger and a beautiful stone lithograph from 1929.
