A beautiful original poster issued in the 1940s by the Pont-Brassus Railway to promote the extension of the branch line into the Vallée de Joux. The Pont-Brassus Railway (Chemin de fer Pont-Brassus - PBr) was a railway company in the canton of Vaud in western Switzerland. The image shows an electric train passing Lac de Joux, the largest lake in Switzerland at an altitude of over 1,000 metres in the Vallée de Joux. The mountain peak Dent de Vaulion can probably be seen in the background.
