About this poster
In the mid-1950s a new era of SBB advertising began: the Swiss Federal Railways started making cheerful advertisements with humorous graphics. Designers such as Hans Thöni and Herbert Leupin were commissioned to put more warmth and heart into SBB advertising. This childlike picture of a charming little man with a hat, a cane and a toy train is sure to put a smile on children’s and adults’ faces alike.
