About this poster
This beautiful and impressive Art Deco poster for the Swiss Alpine Postal Motor Coaches was created by Charles Kuhn in 1928. Post buses (such as the convertible one shown here) replaced horse-drawn post coaches and assumed an important role in Swiss tourism. This stone lithograph is very rare and perfect for fans of Art Deco posters.

Charles KUHN was born in Lausanne in 1903. He was trained as a lithographer in Lausanne and moved to Zurich in 1922, where he worked as a graphic designer and lithographer at the Graphische Anstalt J.E.
