About this poster
Post buses replaced mail coaches in the 20th century and assumed an important role in alpine travel. The yellow route on the poster represents the importance of post buses at the time. This is a rare and original poster done by the well-known graphic designer Herbert Libiszewski in 1945.

Herbert LIBISZEWSKI was born in Bischofszell, Switzerland in 1897 and worked as a fashion illustrator, advertising consultant, illustrator, painter and graphic designer (under the pseudonym of Libis) in St. Gallen.
