About this poster
Towards the end of the 1940s, Swissair engaged various artists like Hermann Eidenbenz for promoting the DC-4. On this glorious and sur-realistic poster by Eidenbenz, the DC-4 is flying high above in the blue sky and above the snow-covered Swiss alps. Swissair is written very effectively given us the impression of being at a very high altitude.
