About this poster

This masterful travel poster by Carl Moos is probably the most attractive Swiss ski jump image of the Art Deco era. With its reduced colour palette, strong light and dark contrast and a composition clearly divided into a top and bottom half, this poster has a strong effect even at a distance. In the distance, the town of St. Moritz quietly bathed in golden sunlight, while a ski jumper flies through the air above us at great speed so that we can almost hear him whoosh by. A perfect stone lithograph and an absolute rarity from 1924.
