About this poster

Robert Milton Ernest Rauschenberg (1925 - 2008) was an American painter, graphic artist, photographer and object artist and a pioneer of Pop Art in the 20th century. Rauschenberg wanted to reunite artistic pictorial reality with the reality of life. He achieved this by bringing parts of the real world into his art unchanged. With this poster design for the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, he succeeded in doing this perfectly. Perfect silkscreen, limited edition no. 72.
