About this poster

This astonishing stone lithograph advertising laundry soap from Steinfels is a classic object poster by Herbert Leupin, master of hyperrealism. Rendered with trompe-l’oeil perfection enhanced by the gleaming water droplets, this humble bar of soap suddenly has an almost magical appeal. A masterpiece from the heyday of the Swiss object poster.
