About this poster

The Basle designer Herbert Leupin’s best vintage posters are characterised by a precise and humorous style. For the Hamburg cigarette brand Salem, Leupin created in the mid-1950s several posters and prove how surely Leupin was able to handle the various graphic techniques, free sketching and perfectly selected typographies.
