Throughout the years Herbert Leupin’s poster designs became more and more offbeat and unique. In the artist’s own world a horse smoking a cigar, like we see here on his design for Rössli cigars, is just an everyday event. Then again why shouldn’t it be?

Herbert LEUPIN was born in Beinwil am See in 1916. He lived in Basel and later in his life he moved to the Italian part of Switzerland, where he died in 1999.
