About this poster

One of the bestsellers among Swiss inventions is the riri zipper developed by Othmar Winterhalter in 1924. The poster is in perfect balance with the product itself. It is simple, effective and serves its function perfectly. The designer Pierre Gauchat was a realist who aimed for immediate effect and direct understanding in his advertising message. Hence many of his wonderfully matter-of-fact solutions that met his need for simplicity and cleanliness, such as this unique poster for RIRI.
