This rare original vintage poster reminds potential holidaymakers that the French Riviera has even more to offer than beaches. A motor coach takes travellers from the green valley up along the mountain road, maybe to the small village perched on the warm terracotta cliffs, promising a beautiful view. Whenever the French PLM railway company (Chemins de fer de Paris à Lyon et à la Méditerranée) commissioned poster artist Roger Broders to create advertisements for its holiday destinations, it sponsored him to travel there in person.

He was one of the most important French poster designers, best known for his travel posters, especially those he created for the railway company PLM (Paris Lyon Méditerannée).
