About this poster
Emil Cardinaux was the greatest Swiss travel poster artist and created many beautiful and unique poster lithographs for travel resorts. This is one of three classics which he created for the famous resort of St. Moritz, featuring a wonderful impressionistic scene with a golfing party on the Samedan golf course within the impressive Alpine landscape of the Engadine. Cardinaux had a special talent for landscapes that could easily pass for fine paintings; his painterly touch is evident in all his graphic works.
