About this poster

This cheerful poster, designed by Herbert Leupin early on in his career, encouraged citizens in 1941 to take a trip on the Montreux Oberland Bernois railway for their spring holidays. The railway is visible at the bottom edge, travelling along the scenic shores of Lake Geneva, and the various destinations on the line are cleverly featured as stickers on the suitcase. This young woman evidently intends to play tennis and hike on a glacier during her trip!
