Max Bill was a Swiss architect, artist and, as a painter, one of the representatives of the Zurich School of Concrete Art. In addition to his painterly work, which often consists of two-dimensional geometric colour fields, Bill created numerous sculptures and exhibited in galleries and museums. Bill designed the concert poster for the 25rd Montreux Jazz Festival in 1991.
