About this poster
The Italian-born artist Leonetto Cappiello had a very creative mind. This poster for Vermouth Martini shows an animated face in a wreath of grapes. The original original poster was designed at the beginning of the 20th century for the Italian Martini vermouth, one of the many brands distilled by the MARTINI & ROSSI company founded in Turin in 1863. This is the later print from the 1960s.
