About this poster

The pilgrimage church of Madonna del Sasso is an important pilgrimage destination and rises on a spectacular rocky outcrop at 370 metres above sea level in the municipality of Orselina. From here you have a breathtaking view of Locarno, Lake Maggiore and the surrounding Ticino mountains. Daniele Buzzi, a native of Locarno, designed several travel posters for the canton of Ticino that are very popular and have become rarities.
