About this poster

In 1998, this original poster designed by Werner Jeker advertised an exhibition in homage to the 135 photographers from eleven countries who were killed or disappeared during thirty years of war in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia from 1946 to 1975. Different versions of the exhibition were shown in Japan and in the United States. The Musée de l'Elysée Lausanne, now known as Photo Elysée, has presented top-class photography exhibitions every year since 1985. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the Lausannois graphic designer Werner Jeker created exhibition posters that subtly and masterfully integrated the text with an image from the exhibition.
