Circus Knie celebrates its 100th anniversary in April 2019. However, the Knie circus dynasty has a 200-year history full of highs and lows, intrigues and love stories. The Knie family witnessed the reorganisation of Europe in 1815 and great success thanks to the economic boom of the 20th century. Renowed artists from all over the world have performed at the Swiss national circus, delighting audiences young and old in the circus ring.
