About this poster

Born in London in 1952, Ray Anderson trained with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The US jazz trombonist is regarded as someone who pushes the boundaries and was often considered the best trombonist in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Andeson worked with George Gruntz and founded the Alligaroty Band. Niklaus Troxler designed the poster with alligators for the 1993 Jazz Festival for his Willisau Festival for the Ray Anderson Alligatory Band concert.
