About this poster

The London Jazz Composers' Orchestra, founded in the early 1970s, was organised by Barry Guy, among others, and included the British improvisers Derek Bailey, Evan Parker, Tony Oxley, Paul Lytton and many others. In 1989, a jazz concert with the group took place at the Hotel Mohren Willisau, for which the graphic designer Niklaus Troxler created the poster as usual, here entirely in the style of the Union Jack.
