A strongly composed graphic design by Rosemarie Tissi for the International Music Festival in Lucerne: The design covers about two-thirds of the poster while white space is left to create lightness. The black area, the use of geometric elements, the strong colouring and the skilful use of typesetting ensure that the viewer’s attention is directed to the violin scroll and thus to the main message: music.

Rosmarie Tissi lives and works in Zurich, was educated at the Zurich School of Design and completed a four-year graphic design apprenticeship before opening her graphic studio together with Siegfried Odermatt in 1968 in the very heart of Zurich, with a beautiful view of the river Limmat.
