About this poster
For every athlete, the protective sunscreen in the 1940s was called Hamol ultra. On this poster, Herbert Leupin chose not to show the popular cream tube but an attractive sunbather framed by a sunflower.

Herbert LEUPIN was born in Beinwil am See in 1916. He lived in Basel and later in his life he moved to the Italian part of Switzerland, where he died in 1999.
