About this poster
Viktor Rutz created his first posters in 1931 and worked worked with colourful light effects in his compositions. His consumer goods posters always put the product in focus, and the designs are often imbued with a bit of humour. Some delightful examples are the posters for Stalden or the Cheese Union, the once controversial Arosa poster and this 1944 stone lithograph for Hamol sun cream. .
