About this poster
Gstaad (1010 m.a.s.) is a charming town in the Bernese Oberland with chalet-style hotels and chalet apartments. It is better known for its guests than for its skiing and is popular with non-skiers who like to play the “who’s that in the sunglasses” game as they sit in restaurants, at the pool or stroll up and down the main street. This Art Deco poster shows Gstaad’s elegant swimming pool built in 1927 and is a very rare stone lithograph by the famous and highly appreciated Otto Baumberger.
