This beautiful vintage poster created in 1914 for the Swiss Federal Railways to advertise the Gotthard line is a fine example of Emil Cardinaux’s delicate Art Nouveau style. It’s a lovely piece of Swiss travel advertising and features a stunning view of a famous landmark on the train ride through the Alps: the iconic church of Wassen on a little height in Uri’s Reuss valley, with the “Chli Windgällen” peak throning in the background.
