How simply and yet strikingly and effectively the Basel artist Herbert Leupin managed to advertise everyday consumer goods. The talented and well-known Leupin created the vintage poster for the Floris detergent for the Zurich based Steinfels detergent factory in 1949. Perfect colour lithograph in excellent condition.

Herbert LEUPIN was born in Beinwil am See in 1916. He lived in Basel and later in his life he moved to the Italian part of Switzerland, where he died in 1999.
