About this poster

In the 1980s and 1990s, Herbert Leupin only designed advertising posters sporadically. In 1985, he designed the little dog Felix with floppy ears and silver eyes for Felix Polstermöbel Rheinfelden. The work is convincing due to its signet-like conciseness and illustrates Leupin's infallible sensorium for colour nuances.

Herbert LEUPIN was born in Beinwil am See in 1916. He lived in Basel and later in his life he moved to the Italian part of Switzerland, where he died in 1999.
