About this poster
The origins of the Kunsthaus Zürich lie in 1896, when the “Zürcher Kunstgesellschaft” was founded. It was the fusion of two previous Zurich art associations seeking to build a museum to house their collections and hold temporary exhibitions. Their efforts resulted in the opening of the Kunsthaus, designed by architect Karl Moser, in 1910.
