The Musée de l'Elysée Lausanne, now known as Photo Elysée, has presented top-class photography exhibitions every year since 1985. In 1996, this original poster by Werner Jeker advertised an exhibition of photographs by the German photographer Herbert List (1903-1975) taken in Italy between 1948 and 1962. It shows an image of the Italian actress Anna Magnani in 1951.

Werner Jeker was born in Mümliswil (canton of Solothurn) in 1944 and lives and works in Lausanne.
