A rare poster for the Swiss Cheese Union designed and displayed without any text whatsoever. It shows a red milk jug and cup with white dots, a traditional design seen on many breakfast tables at the time. This design, printed in a smaller format, shows a piece of Gruyère cheese and is in perfect condition.

Viktor Rutz (Ruzo) was born in 1913 in Straubenzell, St. Gallen. He was a painter, illustrator and graphic designer. From 1931 to 1945, he created about 200 posters in a realistic style that gave him international recognition.
