About this poster
A fashionable lady and her maid are on their way home from shopping at the Centralhalle grocery store in Zurich. This rare, original Jugendstil poster was designed by the Zurich artist Fritz Boscovits, who was famous during his lifetime but is not very well known nowadays. The very recognisable building on the poster was transformed into a cinema in the mid-20th century and today houses shops and offices.
