About this poster

Braustube Hürlimann was a restaurant located at the corner of Bahnhofplatz and Löwenstrasse in Zurich. It was opened as a top modern restaurant in the “Victoria” commercial building, which was built in 1934 and is still there today (the premises are now occupied by the Franz Carl Weber toy store). The former Hürlimann brewery was the largest brewery in Zurich and one of the largest in Switzerland. It was taken over by Feldschlösschen in 1996 and its production site in Zurich-Enge was closed.
