About this poster

With this object poster, Fritz Bühler created a strong advertising message for the Basel consumers’ association (BKG). Like a reversed magician’s hat trick, a gloved hand shakes coins out of a BKG trading stamp to symbolize the reward for the thrifty housewife, who is also shown on the stamp in the form of a pictogram. It seems that Bühler conveys this simple message by narrating it like a story. This original poster is a fascinating document from the year 1956 in perfect condition.
