Great avant-garde poster for a hat store in Zürich finely printed as a lithograph. Created in 1919 by the Swiss Master Otto - Baumberger, this poster is one of the best of the Swiss object style, now hardly searched by museums and collectors. We have for sale this version of 1952 for the moving to the Fraumünterstrasse 17. This is the fourth edition on 4, the third of 1928 is signed with the "B" in the top left corner. Otto Baumberger was born in Zurich in 1889. He served an apprenticeship as a lithographer and took courses at the Zurich Art School (Kunstgewerbeschule) from 1905 to 1907.
