About this poster

Another stunning object poster by the famous Basel poster designer Peter Birkhäuser, who had a strong passion for a graphic style of precision and the difficult airbrush technique. Birkhauser created a few remarkable and unique object posters for the shoe brand BATA. Most of Birkhauser‘s object posters have brilliant colors and richness in textures and as they were printed in lithograph technique, the poster achieved to make an object or a product like this shoe look real. Like for this brown summer sandalette - fashionable in the fourthies with blue sock for 90 Rappen (not even a Dollar) -Birkhäuser succeeded in putting the product - the Bata shoe - right in the middle of the message together with the Bata logotype and the sales price.
