The renowned Basel designer Herbert Leupin had created the campaigns of the shoe brand Bata with advertising appeal for almost two decades. The colour offset poster advertises the feather-light Bata women's shoe 1960.

Herbert LEUPIN was born in Beinwil am See in 1916. He lived in Basel and later in his life he moved to the Italian part of Switzerland, where he died in 1999.
