About this poster

Emil Cardinaux designed several posters for Bally between 1924 and 1936. In this poster image he presents us with a wonderful Art Deco design of three figures having a rest from their walk in the Swiss countryside. Their mountaneering outfit is completed by comfortable Bally sport shoes, which are absolutely essential in a country with such an inviting landscape. A rare and highly collectible masterpiece in printed by Wolfensberger in lithograph technique.
