Zurich’s most famous street, the Bahnhofstrasse, was inaugurated in 1865. Very soon it established itself as a shopping street with its legendary businesses and luxurious brands, offering discerning customers everything their hearts desired. In the 1930s Zurich’s association of specialist shops published this imaginatively designed poster advertisement.
