Exhibition “Constructing Posters” by Swiss poster artist Dafi Kühne in Tokyo
Dafi Kühne is an award-winning Swiss graphic designer and letterpress printer. He creates his posters through a complex, labor-intensive process using metal type, wood type, hand-made linocuts and other traditional materials and techniques.
From 14 July to 26 August 2026, Kühne presents his solo exhibition “Constructing Posters” at the ginza graphic gallery in Tokyo, Japan. It shows the processes that go into the making of his physical letterpress printing formes, giving a fascinating insight into the work of a true artisan dedicated to the entire printing process from initial design to finished printed matter.
Dafi Kühne will also be participating in the panel discussion during the ViPArt poster exhibition in Zurich on 7 October 2026. Don’t miss it for a chance to speak with him and other figures from the worlds of art, advertising and the printing industry!
