Bally exhibition in Zurich

The Bally company, founded in Switzerland in 1851, gained worldwide renown for its top-quality shoes. It is considered a pioneer in combining craftsmanship, industrial innovation and fashion design. Read more on the company’s history on our Bally brand page.

The current exhibition at the Museum für Gestaltung in Zurich traces Bally’s shoe production from its beginnings until today. On display are originals never exhibited before, as well as fashion drawings and machines from the Bally company archive. Visitors also have the opportunity to try on current shoe models, from classic leather shoes to sneakers in pop colours. The exhibition lasts until 11 August 2019.

100 years Circus Knie

In Switzerland, every child knows Circus Knie. This year, it celebrates its 100-year anniversary with 320 shows, additional events outside the circus tent as well as a varied supporting programme.

In the German-speaking part of Switzerland, the evening shows are hosted by the well-known actors Viktor Giacobbo and Mike Müller, and in the French-speaking part by Vincent Kucholl and Vincent Veillon. Circus clowns will perform in the afternoon shows. You can find further information in the Circus Knie tour schedule (in German and French).
