(Lahco), a manufacturer of fine-rib underwear, rose to become Switzerland’s top label for elegant swimwear by the 1960s. In Lahco’s mid-century heyday, various artists and graphic designers were commissioned to create its attractive advertising. Due to structural changes in the 1980s, the company’s success declined. Today, the retro 1950s swimsuits are being produced again and the new company management has been successful in reviving the Lahco label.
