Chocolat Grison, Chur, CH

Carl Georg Bernhard (1858–1939) was a pioneer of the Swiss chocolate industry and grew up in Chur. After studying chemistry in Zurich and Munich, he gained experience in various chocolate factories. In 1893, he founded the Müller & Bernhard chocolate factory with Charles Müller, later known as Chocolat Grison. There was a chocolate factory in Chur for 130 years. In 1961, it was taken over by Lindt & Sprüngli and closed in 1997. But now Chocolat Grison products are available again with a shop in Chur, Canton of Graubünden, Switzerland.
