Jörg Hamburger
Jörg Hamburger was born in Olten in 1935, lived in Zurich and died 2014 in Dietikon, Switzerland.
From 1951 to 1955 he was trained at the Basel School of Arts and Crafts (teachers: Armin Hofmann, Emil Ruder, Donald Brun); from 1955 to 1961 he was employed as a graphic designer first for the chemical industry and then with Josef Müller-Brockmann’s advertising studio.
In 1961 he started working as a freelance graphic designer while teaching at Zurich’s School of Arts and Crafts.
