Noël Fontanet

Noël FONTANET was born 1898 in Geneva and lived as a caricaturist and graphic designer in the region of Geneva. He was educated as a painter at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Geneva and worked as a caricaturist for seveal Geneva newspapers and for the satirical German-language „Nebelspalter“ magazine. Fontanet designed political posters and posters for consumer goods and worked as manager for the Swiss APG, the Affichage advertising company.
